JURASSIC FIELDS FESTIVAL
The Brief
Jurassic Fields is a staple of the West Dorset summer, and they needed a high-energy highlights film to capture the spirit of the weekend. The focus was on the fun: the music, the crowds, and that unique, family-friendly atmosphere that makes the festival such a joy to attend.
The Goal
As a home-grown, self-sufficient event, Jurassic Fields relies on strong ticket sales and local support to keep growing. We wanted to create a film that did more than just look back—it needed to keep the momentum going. The goal was to drive future ticket sales, show sponsors the incredible reach of the event, and prove why Jurassic Fields is a "must-attend" fixture on the regional calendar.
The Result
Working with the festival annually from 2016 to 2019, I produced a series of films that became the centre of their social media presence. These highlights played a huge role in the festival’s consistent growth, helping it expand year-on-year. By capturing the genuine energy of the weekend, the videos helped secure the sponsor interest and ticket revenue needed to cement the festival as a major success story for the local community.
